COMMENT:
Being part of this musical production of “The Addams Family” was so much fun. Over the course of the entire S6 school year we got to know each other, became one big family, and created a fun musical at the end.

This song, “We Live Before We Die”, is one of the very last songs in the play, which we performed in the second to last scene of the musical. It was at the very height of the play, with high levels of tension and anticipation.

I had a lot of fun during this song, not just singing but also dancing and acting alongside Mahanth, who played the fantastic role of Gomez Addams. Even though we all practised all of the scenes a hundred times, nothing compares to the feeling of actually performing it infront of a real audience. This only shows a snippet of the whole musical, which had many more fun and exciting scenes just like this one!

This experience wouldn’t have been as great as it was if it wasn’t for everyone involved who made it possible. I initially came to be part of a musical and have fun but ended up making friends and memories that I will cherish forever 🙂
