COMMENT:
This April my piano teacher hosted her annual Spring Concert with all of her students. We all performed songs we have been working on and it was great seeing such a variety of pieces from students on many different levels.

I played the “Sebastian Theme”, by Justin Hurwitz from the movie “Lalaland”, since it is one of my favourite movies ever. This short but sweet and emotional piece perfectly captures the essence of the film and keeps a lasting impact on both listener and performer.

I really enjoy playing this piece because while it isn’t too difficult to play, it is still very powerful and moving. It is also one of my favourite songs to perform infront of an audience, as I am more confident playing it compared to other pieces. Overall, I am really glad to have played this piece at my piano teachers Spring Concert and I am looking forward to doing it again!
